Bring the weight room to the studio! A strength training class specifically choreographed to use barbells and your own body weight to maximize your strength and define the muscles of your body. Step It Up is the energizing step workout that makes you feel liberated and alive. Using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on, over and around the step you will find out why this class is known as the "leg and butt" workout. Cardio blocks push fat burning systems into high gear -Handweights incorporated that shape and tone all over!
STEP IT UP
Join a group of seniors and older adults for a total-body workout appropriate for any fitness level. Silver & Fit classes are designed to increase flexibility, joint stability, balance, coordination, agility, muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. The workout combines aerobic, flexibility and resistance (strength) training with plenty of friendly fun.
